Getting to know the Polish
Origins & history
A story told
Its origins are confused, it would have come from populations of small rabbits imported from Poland. The first were exhibited in England in 1884. It is the first breed of dwarf rabbits, from which color dwarf rabbits are descended.
Physical
Breed standard
Its weight must not exceed 1.5 kg, ideally between 1 kg and 1.350 kg. The body is massive, as wide as deep, with a well-rounded croup. The head is short and bulky, spherical, with very short ears. One looks for a set of three spheres of the same diameter, one for the head, two for the body. Hermine rabbits can have pink or blue-tinted eyes.
