The Zuchon (or Shichon) is a designer dog breed resulting from the cross between a Curly-Haired Bichon and a Shih tzu. The Zuchon is a small dog approximately 30 centimeters tall on average and weighing 5 to 7 kilograms. The term 'Zuchon' is a portmanteau combining the names of the two breeds to which it belongs, although it has not been recognized as a breed in its own right by the American Kennel Club or any other popular dog breed registry.

It is a dog that does not tend to stray, but nevertheless requires maintenance with regular grooming. As an animal mixing two pure breeds, it is known to have hybrid vigor and, if they are from a first generation, could even possess a better health level than purebred dogs. However, if they are not from the first generation, medical problems may manifest. This dog breed has a relatively short history, starting only at the turn of the 21st century.
