Breed standard
The Celestial parrotlet (Forpus coelestis) has green plumage, just like the Summer parrotlet (Forpus passerinus), but there are other artificial mutations, notably American yellow and turquoise blue. This bird has fairly obvious sexual dimorphism: the male has blue coloration on the flight feathers and rump and forming a line behind the eyes. This bird measures 12 to 13 cm.
