Chapter 1
Getting to know the Conure
Physical
Breed standard
Conures are rather slender parrots with pointed wings and a long pointed tail. Wing beats raised above the body are quite powerful. The distinction of species within certain genera (notably Aratinga and Pyrrhura) is sometimes delicate due to very strong similarities.
What if you adopted your future companion?
The Conure of your dreams may already be waiting in a shelter. Hundreds of conure (and equally wonderful crossbreeds) are looking for a family in France — every adoption starts a new story.
