Why adapt?
The needs of French Lop
The care and dietary needs are the same as for all domestic rabbits. The ideal age for the female French Lop to start breeding is between 9 months and one year, due to the fusion of the pelvic girdle which hinders her ability to give birth naturally if she has not had young early enough. It is recommended not to have litters after the age of three years. The French Lop can produce large litters, generally between 5 and 12 young, after a gestation period of 28 to 32 days, 31 days on average. French Lops have an average lifespan of ten years or more.
