The Tweed Water Spaniel, or Tweed Spaniel, is a dog breed extinct since the 19th century. It is mainly known for its involvement in the early development of the modern breeds of Curly Coated Retriever and Golden Retriever. They were described as sporting dogs generally brown from the Berwick-upon-Tweed region near the Tweed River and the Scottish Borders. It is a water dog. the breed was not well known outside the region.
