Breed standard
This is a medium-sized molossoid-type dog, almost square, with smooth coat and athletic build. Despite its compact body, the Continental Bulldog is mobile and resistant; its breathing, even at full speed, is silent. Its weight, depending on its size, is between 20 and 30 kg. The head is less massive than that of the English Bulldog. The forehead is flat to slightly domed, wrinkles exist but not too marked. The undershot bite is not as pronounced as that of the English Bulldog. Well-arched neck. Regular and fluid movement. The coat is smooth, short, with or without undercoat. All colors accompanied by a dark nose are authorized: solid, brindle or in combination with white.
